Integrations

Slack integration

Connect Slack to receive Clevero notifications in a channel (for example: connector failures, critical issues, and important updates).

Where to connect Slack

Go to Settings → Notifications and find the Slack section.
When you click Connect Slack, Clevero redirects you to Slack to authorize the app for your workspace.
Slack setup is an admin action. If you don’t have permission, ask your org admin to connect it.

What happens after you connect

Clevero enables a set of recommended Slack notification rules for your org (you can change them any time in the Notifications preferences list).
Notifications are delivered to Slack using your org’s default channel. Until a default channel is set, Slack delivery won’t send.

Configure delivery (channel)

After Slack is connected, Clevero can list available Slack channels.
1) Pick a Default channel
2) Send a Test message to confirm delivery
If the test fails with “bot is not in channel”, invite the app to that channel in Slack (for example:/invite @Clevero).
Once a default channel is set, you can enable/disable Slack per event category in your notification preferences.

Ask Clevero from Slack

Once Slack is connected, you can interact with Clevero directly in Slack:
- Use /clevero in a channel
- Mention the app (for example: @Clevero) to get an answer in a thread
- Send a direct message to the app
Clevero identifies the user by a saved link when available, otherwise it tries to match your Slack email to a Clevero member in the org.

Disconnect Slack

If you need to stop Slack notifications, go back to Settings → Notificationsand click Disconnect.
Disconnecting removes the integration from your organization and stops Slack delivery until it’s connected again.
